Child Care Enrichment Programs

In addition to our preschool education program, A Kid's World gives your child an opportunity to participate in day care enrichment programs. Each year, we select well respected organizations in League City to provide on-site enrichment opportunities.

Currently, A Kid’s World offers the following enrichment programs

Floppy’s Mouse Club’s computer education class (click the Floppy Mouse Club link for more information)

Each week Floppy Mouse Club review’s keyboarding skills on a child friendly keyboard. A fun and colorful software program is used to learn keyboarding skills that allow your child to become familiar with key location and proper hand placement. Floppy’s Mouse Club knows that keyboarding is one of the most valuable skills to be attained and we focus intensively in this area. At the beginning of each class, the Floppy Mouse Club teacher reviews the different computer components and explains hardware and software terminology. The instructor will explain the function of each part and demonstrate its use. This is a fun and rewarding and very effective way to review and instill the “tech” vocabulary. Each of these skills and our entire Curriculum is designed to prepare your child to enter Kindergarten and First grade with computer skills at or beyond the level expected of them as they successfully achieve each of the following levels:

The Tumblebus

The Tumblebus brings gymnastics and tumbling to children. The Tumblebus is a colorful yellow school bus filled with gymnastic equipment. Each bus is equipped with bars, beam, vault, trampoline, ropes, rings, monkey bars & more! This program offers;
